FRUITY LOOPS

Post by Blaxter »

Anyone know how to get FL to utilise 2 monitors. It stays stuck on one screen.
What is the "detached" option? A windows related thing or something to be selected in the FL software itself.
Please help! My beats will look better scrolling across 2 monitors.

It will be screen settings, in your preferences.... I'd say by the sounds of it

What kallous said

Also make sure to restore down the window (top right between the _ and x) then drag across both monitors, once you maximise it will go to one monitor only.

I can get all my other applications to work across both monitors just not FL.
Another weird things is the minimise function doesn't work so the screen is either full size on the tool bar. I tried reinstalling an older version of FL and problem seems to be hereditary.
FL user forum suggested something but I couldn't read the whole message cause only members can access shit there.

Yeah Fruity's is funny like that, i.e. full screen or bust.

I don't know about two monitors though.

Seems trange to have an interface where you can move all the different components from tool bar to piano roll anywhere on the screen but not across two monitors. I'm stumped on this and to be honest it's my first only gripe with this software.

I got it running on 2 monitors fine and don't seem to have any probs..?

im sure u've tried it, but click the " _ " button to loosen it from the edges and then drag the bottom right corner across to the end of the second screen.
I don't have it stuck to the edges of the screens but just maximized.
Not sure if theres much else to it really.. maybe check your graphics cards settings and make sure they are running split.

Cheers Flash,
I'll try again tonite. The minimise button doesn't seem to work, but I'll try stretching it form full size screen. What a debacle.
