I thought that with most of the hype dying down, we'd be okay... let's hope that snowball doesn't gather any more momentum.

It's frightening stuff.

And the more people freak out, the more effect it has as purse strings tighten.

The more people who lose their jobs, the less money there will be floating around... snowball effect.

^ news reports have stated that the Adult Entertainment Industry is set to boom due to the recent economic downturn.

Individuals and couples are looking for inexpensive means of entertainment.

I'm confused by this statement.

Last time I took my hand out for dinner, it cost me a good couple of hundred dollars.

dont agree.

it may not be what I would call offensive, but in most work places a certain level of professionalism is expected and I don't think there is anything wrong with that. Its about showing each other respect.

I would never be offended if someone used the term "ball buster" in an email to me, but I would be suprised. I think its a fair expectation for people to not use overly casual language, particualy on an email which has multiple recipients.

In a business setting, by using too casual language on an email you indirectly say to people that you don't care what they think of you, and in the case of most managers that will immediately affect the way they deal with you. From what I understand Petey you are in Financial Services yes? Its a very conservative and professional environment and perception in those places counts for a lot. And I'm not talking about advancement, but just for day to day getting stuff done.
