Damn it! Was gonna watch that FS. Did they get down and dirty...talk the good ol' days or was it more a composite of old and new?

The blonde young chick playing whatsherface Darling on Dirty Sexy Money is, there's no doubt in my mind, one of the worst actresses I've ever had the displeasure of watching. Lots of the show is excellent but she deflates it for me. Me thinks that's wot I get for choosing schmaltz over a true life mob story

that aspect was good - lots of interviews from these old ex mobsters, with lots of old footage and the like.

a great narrative too

Yup... Gordon dissapointed me last night - what a hypocrite!

He belittles people for arguing and swearing in front of customers, and then goes and yells 'fuck' repeatedly alongside 'cunt' at the head chef/owner in earshot of a full restaurant (including a food critic), then cracks the shits and storms off.

Hardly professional ol' Ram-Ram.

Still, entertaining to watch. I'm still waiting for Gordo to cop a stabbing...

I liked it...

although Bourdain and Ram do totally different shows.....

I like them both the same, they just different..

I would not have appreciated the Cbomb in my dining room, but he did have it coming you could see a mile away that if it didn't work he was going to blame the 'new' menu was hell obvious...

Looking forward to Jeckyl on Sunday - James Nesbit from Murphys law is great, and the script is from a guy who wrote the best of the new Dr Who episodes - the one with the statues (blink) and the one with Mary Antionette (The girl in the fireplace). should be suitably creepy

They've done something to Jekyll :? The ABC's fucking around with the episodes, I think they're trying to chop and edit two episodes into one hour cause the story-line's not moving the way it's supposed to...going way too fast. WTF ABC??

it went from 8.30 to 10.10 so that sounds like 2 episodes worth to me

yeah the abc site shows it as a compile of episodes 1+2 - the whole thing runs over 3 weeks not 6.

fuck i hope they havent cut out much - did it feel like there was stuff missing - id think that would be unlike them

There was HEAPS missing. It jumped from one episode to another like they were trying to make it easier for people to understand or something. I've Seen Jekyll a few times and it definitely wasn't right last night.

Sad :?
