aLive @ C.A.R.N.I - 17th of March

Post by LuKo »

Well its been a long wait but its back!

aLive

17th of March ‘07 @ C.A.R.N.I, 60 High st Preston

http://www.carni.com.au/carni/index-01.htmhttp

With some of our favourite aLive players, a host of new faces (big ups ATP for stepping up to the plate!) and the longest lineup ever put together by us!

This will be an all day , all night extravaganza showcasing all styles and genres – LIVE! Including live acts, supporting DJ’s, Ableton DJ sets, Violins, downtempo, uptempo, banging, melodic, just plain offensive we cover it all

This is Melbourne, these are your producers showcasing their stuff, with no other party like it in Melbourne, come be involved and support your local’s :)

Check out the all killer - no filler lineup!

$5 dollars gets you this:

2.00 – 2.30 DJ Sall

2.30 – 3.30 KL (Live Techno) – aLive Tribe

3.30 – 4.00 DJ Tim Boyd - Technoir

4.00 – 5.00 Rusty (Live Trance) – aLive Tribe

5.30 – 6.00 Alex Taylor & The Evil Eye (Violin & Live Electronica)

6.00 – 7.00 Becy (Live Minimal) – aLive Tribe

7.00 – 7.30 Alex Taylor & The Evil Eye (Violin & Live Electronica)

7.30 – 8.30 Luke McD (Live Electro) – Smashbang Records

8.30 – 9.00 DJ Effin See

9.00 – 10.00 Luko (Live Booty-Tek) – aLive Tribe

10.00 – 10.30 ATP (Ableton DJ set, Drum n Bass)

10.30 – 11.30 Blinky (Live Breaks) - Interview Crew, Kiss FM

11.30 – 11.45 ATP (Ableton DJ set, Drum n Bass)

11.45 – 1.00 Pat Stormant (Live) - Deep Chord

So there you go everything from Trance to Minimal to Breaks to Drum n Bass to Downtempo Violin drenched chillout muzak!

There is also BBQ/s being cooked up outside in the courtyard, plenty of lounge action, ultra friendly staff and a bangin sound system ;D

This is THE BEST venue for us yet I believe, the setup is perfect for what we do at aLive....all i can really say is

i'm eXCITED!!    :zabiela: :zabiela:

Cheers

MAIN OFFENDER= for today is DJ Snowie for the prize of blatant feigned interest and cross pollination. What ever happened to those irish girls? Its BYO vodka dont you know and ill supply the lemonade for the low low price of $12 a bottle!

cheers Andrez, aLive is always a mish mash of producers, it would be kinda boring watching 6 dudes all play techno or house one after the other ;)

i believe it is a comeback, yes.

i think luko got hassled by so many alive lovers that he just couldnt resist.

and the very capable and sweet tim boyd is now dealing with CARNI's booking etc (i think) so its a prefect venue for such an event!!

I. love. daytime. parties.

WOOOOOOOT!!!

yeah a comeback of sorts i guess...the last one we did was the boat party in december, so its been a few months

hopefully we will see some new faces down at CARNI, such a rad venue for this - couches everywhere- layed out across a warehouse space , with outdoor area and bbq's - oh and a bar of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!
