Yeah, good call. Try
www.froogle.com and see which ones will ship to Aus.
Even if they don't mention it on the site, just shoot em an email and they
generally play ball.

^^^ true, but the unlikelyness that they will break is so high that people would probaby rather take the chance and save $100... I dont undestand why theyre so expensive anyway, its just components and plastic

laconic = $149EUR = $251AUD
chemical = 115GBP = $285AUD
laconic is the clear winner

actually when you get to the check out it turns out to be
at laconic 236.21 EUR = 398.804 AUD
but at chemical its 102.37 GBP = 254.283 AUD
BAH, i think chemical wins

^^ that's funny, cause I bought some from laconic back in July...... with postage they were approx $280AUD all together with postage.
I can't see why they are charging $125EUR for postage
there's gotta be some mistake...
I went through ebay though

what is "Dispatch by Pre Payment"? For some reason that adds on 125 EUR to laconic :S

StoreDJ are pretty good as far as droping the prices down when you are
ready to deal. Go into the store if you live close enough and see how far
you can get them down. Also it doesn't help to have a quote for them
to match (be it real or imaginary)

all you need to do to fix up the SP's is flip the cups upside down and tape the cable over the head-band and let the cable go down one side... i got the ex-concorde ones off ebay for somethng ridiculous like $30

Wasn't really talking about the 'members price' but actually going in store
and seeing what they can do for you.
I've only delt with them once but they undercut everyone else in town.

yeah i just seperately meant on the site... its $40 or so to become a member.. duno i just thought $5 discount was cute and useless
but yeah id rather buy everything from a physical shop if its local, still takes off postage if you havnt been able to knock it down further which /will/ be that $5 discount

Technics 1210's FTW - for listening pleasure/DJ'ing... (got nice big bass)
HD25's for production/DJ'ing (more of a flat response HP).

^ which Technics though Al.
1200's, 1210's?
I thought the 1210's were great for aural pleasure, but the HD25's were great for accuracy.

cant remember which ones i had, but i know there were the slightly cheaper ones with the straight chord and the coiled chord ones, i had the coiled chord ones. They were decent, no doubt, but if i had the choice between them, HD25s or the pioneers i currently have, they would place dead last
