For the next BBA session of funked up beats and deep grooves we team up with one of the most successful drum n bass labels of all time - Bryan G's V Recordings.
BBA Present Liquid V Club Sessions featuring Artificial Intelligence on their first ever Australian Tour.
Artificial Intelligence are the duo responsible for two of the biggest drum & bass club hits last year including "Desperado" and "Uprising" This year their main project is compiling and mixing the second album in the Liquid V Club Sessions series which will include 20 exclusive Liquid V rollers from artists including - Roni Size, Makoto, LTJ Bukem, TC, Stress Level & TC1, Calibre, Total Science, Utah Jazz and remixes from Marky, High Contrast and Logistics.
Liquid V Club Sessions has been building its profile over the last twelve months with monthly nights at Medicine Bar, The End and Egg. There have also been one off nights in Bristol, Birmingham and around the UK and overseas including Vienna, France and Switzerland.
There?s been a lot said about Liquid drum & bass and one of the misconceptions is that it?s not really for the clubs. Liquid V smashes that myth head on. This is club music, with a little twist from the main but comprising the best of what makes heads and feet move on a dancefloor.
The aim of Liquid V Club Sessions is to orchestrate a series of Liquid V nights across the globe under the banner ?The Big Picture Tour ? to promote the release of the new album due to be released in June 2006. Artificial Intelligence will be the headline act for the Australian Leg of the tour brought to you by Broken Beat Assault.

Good read in the last ATM on these guys, interesting quote about the whole 'liquid' thing :
Does the term 'liquid' annoy you or do you think it's an appropriate word for the music?
Zula: I'll be honest: I didn't like the term before it blew up and became fashionable. It was just a name that Fabio gave to the sound of drum and bass he was playing at the time; it was his thing really.Others started coming and doing a different sound that wasn't being heard in the mainstream and it became bracketed off as 'liquid.'I don't like brackets.I like it being under one banner, one dance, under one roof. When I go out I dont like to hear one style of music all night; I get bored.I think that having sub-genre nights can be detrimental to the vibe of a night. It's easy for promoters to bracket off this and that and cater for a specific crowd, but in terms of vibes and getting everyone out to enjoy themselves is rarely happening. I remember when I could go out and see my whole group of friends all under one venue, but now you'll go out and certain man's aint going to a certain party. I dont wanna be going to a dance where it's nothing but all folks or nothing but young people; I like the whole mix and thats what it was about in the early days, the mix of black and white, all the ages, all the different professions;doctors, policeman, builders all pilled-up.
Certain labels are segregating the sounds they wanna push, by setting up sub-labels, but I dont necessarily think that's a good thing. This label's for this and this labels for this, its not good. You got your Reggae-influenced tunes, your jazzy-influenced tunes, so imagine how much more bracketed music is gonna come of a result of of what's in store years down the line. I didn't think Uprising was a liquid tune, its quite moody and almost dark with the bass, but it got put in that 'liquid' backet.
Glen: I think that's because of the previous stuff we'd made, and we don't want that. We want each tune to be judged on its own merit.
You seem quite peeved that you're sectioned off as strictly 'Liquid' artists. Does that mean you only get 'liquid' gigs or collaborations with 'liquid' artists?
Zula: Yeah, that was the case, but we're breaking out of that now.We can play at One Nation and we can play at Ram, 'Cos we got so many tunes we can't play in certain places, or more that we'd just be playing that sort of tune for the sake of it and that's not what we're about as DJs, we want to play the right tunes to make the crowd enjoy themselves.
