ANYTIME @ Workshop :: April 20th :: Laaaidback
Continuing fortnightly on April 20th, the cats who're known best for their contribution to the Drum&Bass and Beats&Breaks scene have peeled off the faster tempos for something a little more intimate.
Movin' on the laidback tip, we've got more recliners than gastro could ever beat down, more beats than an English cricket side aaaaaaand, more Gin than England. We've also go DJ Guyno dropping by for a 1.5 hour mixup of whatever the hell he likes whilst the ANYTIME massive & co. try not to get the boot.
DJ Seven, Dust & Lynt spittin' chips, drinking gin and vodka while we rug up and witness the chaos once again. Come down and smash it with us like we only know how. Let's lay back.
Lineup...
8:00pm: Lynt (Cough)
9:30pm: Seven (Double bacons undo the run)
11.00pm: Guyno (Drinkin' gin & juice)
12:30pm: Dust (Mind on the money, money on clam)
2am: We play till we get kicked. (jager, tequila, oat cuisine)

no, not at all.dust wrote:Thats the second piece of filth i've seen on here in the last few days. Is there someone hacking into the site? Very strange and truly disgusting at the same time!
goes something like this:
- daniel hosts an image of, i don't know, umbrellas or booze or oats or chop or something
- karl goes 'oh hey cool, i'll put that on mbc'
- the 100,000 readers of mbc are now looking at daniel's picture, which is making daniel's server run very slowly/costing him a great deal in bandwidth charges
- daniel gets pissy and either blocks off access to that image, or turns it into a very unpleasant picture
(obviously, it wasn't me.)
I don't want that image on my screen at all, just in case someone wanders by!! Wouldn't look too good for me at work!Friday wrote:i reckon sodust wrote:Luce - are you going to make it down on Friday night?

Oooh. Just Googled "songs about gin" and I found this:
Moody.Tom Waits wrote:I'm the tiger's empty cage
I'm the mystery's final page
I'm the stranger's lonely glance
I'm the hero's only chance
I'm the undiscovered land
I'm the single grain of sand

I'm the gin in the gin-soaked boy
Lynt, i'm pretty sure i saw a copy either on vinylwarning or at Mix bag.
