Had a couple of James Squire porter stubbies last night. Did enjoy. Generally don't rate their beers much, but this one was good. Loving my dark beers atm. Coopers stout, Monteiths black, Youngs chocolate stout. Yum

yeah their porter is quite good.

get out there and find a kooinda full nelson black IPA. slowbeer, purvis cellars, most good bottle shops (that stock us) have it.

will buy on sight man!

For some reason i thought the only beer you lot made was the pale ale

well we just released two newies the full nelson black IPA and the kooinda wit beer, proper traditional wit (wheat) beer with corriander and orange peel both have been selling really good. still pumping out the pale ale too but you cant be a one trick pony for so long.

the wit has a bright orange label and the full nelson is a black label, full nelson comes in 750ml champagne style bottle (also you may be lucky enuff to find a 330ml bottle of it) and the wit just in 330ml's. the wits 5.5% alc and the blacks 7% alc with a few truckloads of hops in it lol.

Deco Bar, Toff in Town, Black heart and Sparrows (Fitz), Grace Darling, Josie Bones, Penny Blue, Smith St Cellars all have the Black IPA.

Why not at Rathdowne? It's 2 doors down for me so i usually go there.

was $27 for a longneck, could not afford lol

still want to try though, will take enough cash with me next time haha

black IPA's are now at Section 8 in tattersalls lane as of tommrow (friday) as well...they are the 330ml bottles so should be a fair bit cheaper than the 750ml's.

Tried the Redhill Black IPA at Biero last week. Didnt like it much. It was my first try of a black IPA. Will give yours a go though. Gave the Kooinda Wit and Rasberry Wit a go at the Fed Square showcase. Very tasty!

Oh yeah, and if anyone is feeling thirsty on Wed night. Biero Bar on Lil Lonsdale St has half price pints of craft beer on Wed nights. $5 entry. Had a good after work session there last week. Def worth the effort.

Had a Bootleg Oatmeal stout last night. Heaven. Also tried an Emerson stout which was good too

been smashing Mad Brewer's Stout Noir lately... top drop, and 7% alc... get pretty buzzin' off one bottle tbh

Just plain Asahi Super Dry right now - but having it in Tokyo humidity seems about right.

Yip, that's James Squires seasonal release. Had it on the tap at the Squire brewhouse and it's pretty tasty.

He's ordered in 4 different ones. Pretty steep prices but blew me away

They've got an Espresso Stout, and one brewed in Shochu casks.
Amazing flavour in the ale I tried. A bit of Miso in there.

<3 a good Japanese beer. Mmm those malty black Yebisu are awesome too

intrigued i must say

have tried a couple of coffee stouts and to date i can't fault them, defo my fave kind of beer

Kingfisher Strong... 8% 650ml... bloody lethal

haha not to mention horrible

haywards is another strong indian beer....pretty sure the strongest one is even stronger than the red label kingfisher

it is also horrible

it isn't great... but the price of beer here is comparatively expensive, real expensive, so when you get the strong for the same price as a normal, you buy it

deco bar makes me think of opening up a dago bar
