These things happen when organising a massive line up like this one. Honestly this is still the biggest dnb line up Melbourne has ever seen (until NYD!!)

Thanks to all for putting that one on..it was well massive!

Really appreciated the contrast of sounds between all the rooms, there was something there for all.
Agee with Bobby... Joe's set was awesome-deffs pushing the envelope in the best way possible!
I enjoyed Commix, but loved the dark, funky tech masters, Teebee and Calyx.

Had a blaaaaaaaaaaaaaast!!!
Only gripe was a few too many rude and pushy people around. Noticed a few fights - but i spose thats expected at such a large event. Security handled it well.
Aside from that, i had a quality time. Great music and a really well put together event. Props to all involved!

We found the tooth once the place cleared out (my what a big tooth it was.. root and all).
Poor bugger gunna cost him 5G to get it fixed... bullshit IMO!!

And security were a bit heavy handed at times (not all just some.. ppl skillz or some professional development classes a suggestion)... but crowd was pretty amazing......

Crowd and tunes were brilliant.... Joe Seven's set was on the MONEY.. gets better every time i see the man play... TC = surprisingly excellent.. and teebee/calyx nearly tore the room apart... their co-ordination is brilliant! randall was good, but his tune selection didnt really tickle my private parts.. organisation of the night was done really well in most areas, bigups to the staff and emergency crews for handling the lift episode.. i think its time someone seriously considered getting a new lift before someone gets badly hurt in one way or another. great to see commix and randall getting out there and chatting with the crowd afterwards..

one thing I must comment on - the sound was absolutely bloody disgraceful. i've never heard it so bad at roxannes, ever. the back room was boomy as fuck, you could barely hear the mid or highs, and was terribly muffled. the front room was flat as a tack, the mix was rubbish, there was no bottom end and was overly mid-range, definitely did not complement the style of music being played.

i didnt see any fights all night, only some push and shove at the end... i dont blame the security for anything as i saw some proper fuckwits hounding them for random reasons unknown, but at that time of the night, the last thing you want is some dickhead scattered kid in your face when you are trying to control such a large group of people. respect to them for doing a reasonably good job. bring on NYD!!!!

Hmm! I thought sound quality in Operatives room was crisp and clear.. Big room was a little so so at times, but that was maybe the number of peeps soaking up the sound..

Sounded like Jakes mic was only running through the foldback tho.. Up at front of room you could just hear him, down back, nup..

The bouncer who looked like Brad Baloo was a bit of a penis - he kept asking people to move away from, and stop leaning on the bar. Sheesh

commix & joe were both sick, jakes was a nutter, had to clear out early though. sound in the back was proper muffled up the back, seemed like all the highs and most of the mids were lost ... it's a bloody hard system to tame though and i don't blame anyone involved in running it, except for not having banned hooves from leaving melbourne. nice night!
