Any Melb Beats crew I haven't met, please come and say hello.

I'll be not too far away from the door or the bar. =)

Big props to all involved and generously donated their time and effort in what was an awesome night. Cant believe a gig of that magnitude was organised in 2 weeks.

What a great night! And great to meet some MB heads as well :D

Nubreed rocked the cazbar in my opinion for the night. Also i quite liked Brewster vs Lynt. Hadn't seen Brewster play for a while as i haven't been to many breaks nights. Always good tuneage comin from da man :D 8)

Top work to all who contributed to making a ripper of a night!!!

^^ It was st kilda wat else did you expect.

Good night had by all, nice and sedate. Gotta ask tho... what did everybody think of Tali's set? Personally, I thought it was fucking terrible.

Some people (guys!) wouldn't buy the cd because she wasn't on it.

I felt like some of the stuff she did was misplaced, as in the vibe was up, party like, and she did some real slow stuff. But then again- I was sitting at the cloak room, so I can't really say i guess.

RB's pics are up here... http://www.residentadvisor.net/showphotos.asp?ID=5230

cant believe that story about some FOOL saying he should get in free. Poor old RB didnt feel too good about some of the blow-ins from the Pub. They didnt bother me tho.

Sounds like i didnt miss much with Tali. Didnt dig her much last time i saw her. Pity i missed brewster, lynty and Kombat Bass. Sorry fellas! I had to save some energy for the rest of the w'end! :P

rofl, a great few last piccies of BrB =p

Yah, Tali was a little out of place there ... but you gotta cater to the mainstream blow-ins off the street I guess ...

re Tali: as much as she wasn't my cup of tea and as much as we all love to bag her on here, the bottom line is if she wasn't on the bill we wouldn't have raised as much money as we did (courtesy of the silver handbag contingent) for Red Cross.

so let's not get too carried away ;)

fully, I was watchin' them from the stage and it looked like they were practicing for some Tali style Karaoke. they literally knew EVERY word and were gettin' right into it.

good on 'em.

hahaha, look at the faces on the crowd in the pic above. "who the fark is this dikwad?"
