sure, and neither transmitting nor receiving is free. notice how much of a difference wifi makes to a laptop or phone's battery life. part of that is that wifi chipsets aren't quite mature yet and suck too much power when they shouldn't, but most of that's an unavoidable result of having to send huge amounts of data over radio.

What about full time students that are not counted as students.

I am a full time CA student but the government does not recognise me as a student at all.

It's prolly more about whether they are research or coursework. Research postgrads don't pay fees or HECS either...

And also is a way of the guvvrnment to say "thanks" for discovering some obscure tiny useless thing about something that really doesn't mean anything profound except that you managed to convince your examining board that you deserve a PhD.

It is now a recognised tertiary degree.

It has changed from being a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants to a Graduate Diploma in Chartered Accounting.

Still no student recognition. Fucking sucks. I could go an extra $900 now
