Just had a flashback to highschool, and there was a dude who spent 3 months in hospital because he burnt himself really bad in a BBQ accident.

Our nickname for him was 'Webber'

Boys and Gals, that party was OFF THA HOOK!!!! The Breakfastaz went absolutely mental, the amount of energy those guys were pumping out was incredible. Definately my most favourite breaks set I have seen. Great to be a part of it, especially with a sizable crew still going at 6am in the morning. Ripper sets from the local crew! I'd say last night was the night that Gimme firmly established itself as the No. 1 Breaks party in Australia.

Eric, nice meeting you and having a chat, hope you got to stay around for a while.

Hope to see all you guys at Chris Carter next Sunday! :D

Yeah, stayed for the first hour of the Breakfastaz. Being that I'd never heard any of their music before, I thought they tore it up. I never knew there were that many BIG songs out. That place was rockin.

I thought Ben Stacey played a quality set as well in the side room. FUNK-EE!!!

Marcus, very cool putting the face to the name, my man. Feel free to come have a chat anytime and sorry again about the line at the Croft last week.

Drew + Guyno,
TOP JOB!!! Knew it was gonna rock, but it's always nice to see it and also be a part of it. I still think Whitney Houston would be a good booking for you. :D

What a party! OB1, i didnt know you DJ for gold 104.... hahaha, jk. Funky old skool to begin mixed into nu skool breakS. Followed by the set of the night for me, Guyno. Buddy, you rock! Track selection is no.1, beats just keep flowing and they rocking without losing the groove! Breakfastaz, they were okay to me but they were just plain hard (overboard for my liking). Good to mosh to though, hahaha :D

Oh, and can we please get the disco dance floor outta there please, thanks!

Big it up to Murf and Fro. Two seriously Loco Brit nutters that really know how to get proper loose. I gotta say I had fairly high expectations of these guys but they delivered ten fold. If that was any indication of what we've got to look forward to in terms of releases, I'm stoopid excited about where breaks is going. Some incredible stuff to come from the likes of Autobots, Backdraft, Control Z, etc... and a nasty little number coming from the Plumps that is not what we're used to hearing from Plumps :smt023

Props to OB1, Evil, Shane Ford, Ben Stacey, Ferris, Lucid lads, Ivan and James and my legandary right hand man the good Dr Sponk. Solid mutha fucka's!!!

Muck love to Door biatch extraordinaires Jamie and Bek. :smt050

Thanks to everyone who made it down and made for a totally insane party. The guys gave HUGE, HUGE, HUGE props to the Melbourne massive. They reckon that was one of the most off the hook crowds they'd ever played to. I reckon they could be right!. I :smt049 MELBOURNE!!!!!

Major props go out to the one like Evil for being one of the most motivated, passionate and driven guys in the scene who makes parties like this possible. You rock negro!!!! 8)

Major ups to the Gimme Crew for absolutely destroying their first international gig! If you bottled the vibe in Brown Alley from Saturday night you could go a long way toward creating a viable new energy source.

The Breakfastaz were on it from the first track - massive rolling beats, huge breakdowns, incredible energy and great crowd interaction. Great guys too, in it for all the right reasons.

The punters were well and truly up for it, a surging, pulsating mass of smiles, sweaty bodies and raised arms, was great to be right in the middle of it going mental. I only managed to elbow one poor girl in the head, considering my patented "flailing octopus" dancing stylez it wasn't a bad effort...

Individual props to Guyno for the best set I have heard him drop. Track selection was tight as. Keep bringing the funk bad boy!!

Big ups to all the usual crew for a mad night and morning shenanigans, great to meet some more MB heads....

I was straining because of a random shelving attack, it's the latest trend in clubbing pick ups. Rowies are so 2004...

As is the trend of comments so far, best set ive heard in ages, if not ever.

If my brain worked I would attempt to say something of value, but alas I cant so will simply say Guy and Drew, thankyou for an totally awesome nite. Your hospitality on Sunday topped it off Guy.

bloody hellfire, what a night!! Congratulations to the Gimme guys for putting on the best breaks party i've been to in Melbourne... ever. That was something else.

The Breakfastaz were on fire, they sure know how to rock a party big style... loved their playfullness behind the decks too. Great work by Guyno beforehand - my fave set of yours so far.

Danced all night which was pretty good, considering my aching body from the night before - testament to all the DJ's rocking out... how could I sit down!

Great to meet some Melbourne Beaters and catch up with a few peebs I've met before.

One of personal highlights was the random chick who was dancing behind the decks for almost the entire Breakfastaz set. I think someone may have spiked her drink with a large dose of PLUR....

I nearly pissed myself when she was behind the decks when Zen Master Evil was playing. I remember thinking that at any given second Evil's gonna turn round and give her a Liverpool kiss that will go down in Gimme folk lore.

Haaaaah. GOLD!

She was funny. Thought about asking her to get down but the guys seemed to enjoy her being there and what with all the nut grabbing, nipple cripples, hip n shoulders and bundy slams going down behind the decks I figured she fit right in!

Faaaaark. Never been sooo sore after a dj gig though. Feels more like I went 10 rounds with Tyson. Too much fun though. :smt035
