DJ YODA ANNOUNCES A CUTTING EDGE EXTRAVAGANZA DJ YODA MAGIC CINEMA SHOW

The incomparable DJ Yoda AKA Duncan Beiny is set to unleash a brand new audio-visual extravaganza on an unsuspecting world, Already established as one of the most exciting artists spearheading the audio-visual DJing revolution that is transforming clubbing as we know it, DJ Yoda has put together a completely fresh set of filmic treats based around his infamous hip-hop grooves that can spin off in any direction, taking in styles as diverse as Brazilian beats, Baltimore Club music and beyond. Anything and everything can work its way into a mix infused with his trademark movie themes that include the likes of High School Musical pop culture (of course, he rocks it!), the cult cool of Brother Where Art Thou the classic brilliance of Taxi Driver and, of course Star Wars. Cutting and scratching his way through a stunning array of visual manna the Magic Cinema Show raises the bar for both club DJs and AV enthusiasts, taking the crowd into brand new entertainment territory.Armed with the Pioneer SMV-1000 - a piece of cutting edge DVD mixing technology that he has been key in developing and that is currently only available to a handful of DJs worldwide - DJ Yoda will be showcasing a host of state-of-the-art manoeuvres never before witnessed in the UK. Having created an incredible 90 minute show versatile enough to work equally well as a dance floor smasher or an eye-popping, popcorn-munching spectacle, the jaw-dropping brilliance of the visual manipulations coupled with his incredible DJ skills makes DJ Yoda Magic Cinema Show an unmissable landmark in the art of AV.

As far as I know the only way to get the remaining tickets is to win them from this site - http://www.thewayin.com.au/

did it never occur to anyone that if you work in a bar and have to order large amounts of smirnoff
then it would be worth a try to demand a ticket from Smirnoff when placing an order? It's worth a try at least, it's fucking Yoda!!!!

yes, those things occur to me.

the thing is, we buy mostly from companies that buy from brands...
so we dont have a relationship with smirnoff directly...

fail.

hmmm yeh it sucks if you want to go but I actually say hats off to smirnoff.

they have put on a free party, with DJ's that are actually good for a change, and made people work for the tickets, by going on treasure hunts etc. Makes the whole thing a fun experience IMO.

fun?

Buying a ticket and going to see Yoda play would be fun.

Doing the shit you have to do to get a ticket on that website and wasting hours of time is not fun. imo.

we don't find it fun, because we have to work full time and don't have time to mess about with silly competitions

BUT I'm sure for young ones who are a bit bored and are looking for something to do, a treasure hunt for party tickets could possibly be classified as fun.

how ridiculous - smirnoff brings out good djs (who interestingly agree to play in a walled garden environment) and puts on a big party for free with booze and big production ... THAT IS JUST NOT FAIR. Enter the fuckin' competition if you want to go ffs! There's probably a chance you'll get a ticket and have a great night.

that's all good & fine, but what is the use of a FREE party if we can't go? (or have to enter a lottery to win)

... and even if you get in, you prolly end op with a bunch of 18 year-old retards who couldn't give a fuck about DJ Yoda.

What Smirnoff are doing is all well and good, but the they shouldn't have chosen Yoda.

conditions include

1) you must wear a tinfoil hat in case yoda tries to change to force in you

2) you must also wear a t shirt emblazoned with something rightous, in keeping with the gen z ethos.

3) you must NOT drink anything other than smirnoff from the time that we dispatch your ticket until foreverafter.

4) you will agree to any media spin, interviews with gretel kileen, and/or Kyle sanderlands when she is too coked to turn up, tittie shows at the grand prix, or any other worthy and beneficial promotional campaigns we deem suitable for representing smirnoff.

So, has anyone heard anything from these websites?

I'm so fucking annoyed it's at one of these stupid types of shows.

I'd happily pay $$$ to see Yoda, and if I miss out I'm going to cry.
