Locking threads

Wouldn't it make more sense to just delete them?

They're being locked coz they're taking up board space with off-topic bizzo and getting read of promo thread yeah?

Might as well delete them if things are gonna be locked so easily... obviously this goes for this thread also. But I'd rather post it than PM it just in case anyone would like to disagree/agree with me.

I don't understand why we must explain this on a weekly basis.
